P6 intelligence for project controls teams

Complete P6 schedule intelligence from start to finish

Keep the baseline and every monthly XER update in one browser-based project record. See when slippage starts, follow longest paths, milestones, and costs, and preserve the schedule evidence behind delay, impact, and time-extension reviews.

The whole project, from baseline to latest

Each update shows where the schedule stands. The history shows how it got there.

Schedule Tracker keeps recurring XER updates together as the project unfolds, so each review can answer the questions that matter now without losing the decisions and movement that came before.

01

What changed in this update?

Find added or deleted activities and relationships, logic, duration, calendar, lag, actual-date, float, and longest-path changes.

02

Where is slippage developing?

Follow forecast completion, milestone progression, missed planned dates, and activities moving into limited or negative float.

03

What is driving completion now?

Review the exported P6 longest path, see activities entering or leaving it, and relate path movement to the current completion forecast.

04

What supports the impact review?

Preserve a contemporaneous record of schedule quality, logic changes, progress, milestones, costs, and driving work for professional review.

  • Keep the baseline and recurring XER updates in one project record
  • Track multiple projects and schedule updates
  • Compare any two saved schedule versions
  • Run schedule-health and DCMA 14-point reviews
  • Follow milestones and forecast completion from baseline to latest
  • Review longest-path, progress, resource, and cost movement
  • Reopen the same organized record throughout the project

Evidence, not automatic conclusions

Make professional judgment easier to support

Schedule Tracker organizes repeatable CPM checks, comparisons, and project-history evidence. It does not determine causation, concurrency, entitlement, or responsibility, and it does not replace the contract, supporting project records, or the analysis of a qualified professional.

P6 schedule questions

What the free check shows and what the full product adds

Is the free XER check the complete Schedule Tracker product?

No. The free check reviews one XER as a single-schedule preview. The full product keeps the baseline and successive updates in one project history so you can compare selected periods and review milestone, completion, path, cost, and performance movement over time.

How many P6 schedule updates can I import?

You can import up to 20 XER files together. Schedule Tracker organizes them by project and data date, and you can add later updates as the project continues.

Does Schedule Tracker replace Primavera P6?

No. Primavera P6 remains the scheduling system. Schedule Tracker analyzes exported XER files in a browser and organizes the review record without editing the source file or requiring a direct P6 database connection.

Does the software determine delay causation or claim entitlement?

No. It organizes schedule evidence such as logic changes, milestone movement, float changes, missed dates, and longest-path shifts. Causation, concurrency, entitlement, responsibility, and the appropriate methodology require the contract, supporting project records, and professional judgment.

P6 and CEI experience behind the software

Schedule Tracker was developed by Alexandra Kay, PE, CCM, MBA, a licensed Professional Engineer, practicing CEI Senior Project Engineer, and former senior Primavera P6 scheduler. Since 2017, it has been used, trusted, and tested by project professionals working on major Florida infrastructure projects, including work for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT), Central Florida Expressway Authority (CFX), Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA), and other public agencies.
